The 13th US-Japan Conference: Advancing Cancer Innovation Amid Global Challenges | Japan Agency for Medical Research and Development

On Friday, September 4, 2026, I had the distinct honor of speaking at the session “Start-Up as a Strategy for Funding Your Science,” held as part of the 13th US-Japan Conference, co-hosted by the Embassy of Japan in the United States and the Japan Agency for Medical Research and Development (AMED), under the overarching theme, “Advancing Cancer Innovation Amid Global Challenges.” It is a great privilege to have been recognized by AMED, the conference co-host, as an “Honorable Speaker.” I am deeply honored by this distinguished recognition and sincerely grateful for the opportunity to share my research and perspectives at such a prestigious international forum. I extend my heartfelt appreciation to the organizers for this invaluable opportunity and honor. Looking ahead, I will remain steadfast in my commitment to advancing the science and clinical potential of Near Infrared Photoimmunotherapy (NIR-PIT). Through continued research and development toward its practical implementation and further advancement, I hope to contribute to the creation of new possibilities in medicine and, ultimately, to bringing meaningful benefits and new hope to patients around the world.

この度、主催者であるAMED様より栄誉ある「Honorable Speaker」として顕彰いただきましたこと、大変光栄に存じます。

このような貴重な機会と栄誉を賜りましたことに、心より感謝申し上げます。
