On July 4, 2024, the Presentation on the Overseas Clinical Elective/Observation Program Report was held at Katano Hall, Hirakata Campus. 1st year medical students and other students who are interested in overseas clinical program attended.
Presentations were given by 13 students who practiced at the University of Glasgow (Scotland), University of Tiibingen, Leverkusen General Hospital (Germany), University of California San Francisco, University of Vermont(US), National Heart Institute(Malaysia), The Hospital for Sick Children (Canada) and Vilnius University (Lithuania).
They gave their presentations in English, sharing their experiences abroad, differences in medical systems, and program schedules. They also reflected on the valuable challenges they faced, such as adapting to new environments and overcoming language barriers—opportunities that they could only encounter at this point in their training.
