The 2024 International Graduate School Entrance Ceremony took place on Friday, October 11, at 5:00 p.m. in the Middle Conference Room on the 4th floor of the Hirakata Campus Faculty of Medicine Building.
The ceremony was attended by President Tatsuo Kinashi, Dean and Vice President Kazunari Kaneko, Vice President Hidetaka Okada, Director of Education, Graduate of School of Medicine Hirofumi Hitomi, Vice Director Tomoyuki Nakamura, Director Koichi Tomoda, Vice Director Raoul Breugelmans from the Center for Global Engagement, and faculty advisors from the Graduate School of Medicine, who warmly welcomed the five new international students.
During the self-introduction session, each new student shared their expectations for life in Japan and their enthusiasm for research activities, setting the stage for an exciting academic journey ahead.
The ceremony provided an opportunity for faculty and students to connect, fostering a welcoming and supportive environment for the new international scholars.
