On November 7, 2024, a delegation led by Consul General of the Republic of Indonesia in Osaka John Tjahjanto Boestami, along with Vice Mayor of Hirakata City Hideto Shimizu visited KMU. In the main conference room, presentations were given on our university’s introduction, information about Indonesia, past connections with our university, the status of international students, and our distinctive cutting-edge medical technologies and facilities. Discussions also included the ongoing agreement with Airlangga University in Surabaya and the potential future referral and acceptance of inbound patients from Indonesia. Afterward, the delegation also toured the microbiology laboratory and Near InfraRed Photo-Immuno Therapy Research Institute where the students from Indonesia are enrolled and the out-patient department of the affiliated hospital.
